Sr. Juliana's letter of gratitude

8th February, 2005.

Dear Friends & Alumni of HTC,

It is with deep gratitude that I write to thank you for your cards, flowers, prayers and visits to Caritas Medical Center during Sr. Rose Mary's hospitalization from 5/1/2005 to 13/1/2005, and for your emails, local and distance calls, your condolences and the support of your prayers. Thank you, too, for those who attended Sr. Rose Mary's Funeral Mass celebrated by Most Rev. Bishop Tong, and concelebrated by other priests on 15/1/2005 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, followed by the burial rite at St. Raephel's Catholic Cemetery at Cheung Sha Wan, and the Requiem Mass offered by Holy Trinity College on 26/1/2005 at the same church. On both occasions, the ceremony was beautiful and the sermons and sharing were very touching. I have to apologize that due to the shortness of time, we were unable to notify many friends of the sad news. Should you miss them, they have been uploaded in our school website:

http://www.htc.edu.hk

I wish to thank you for your Mass donations to Sr. Rose Mary, as well as donations to our New Annex Building and to Sr. Rose Mary Scholarship. The New Annex Building will be completed by July this year. A Fund Raising Committee headed by Ms. Catherine Cheung, 74 graduate, has been set up to gather funds for the furnishing of this building project, to get it ready for its official opening in 2006 when we celebrate the 40th Anniversary of our school. It is a great pity that Sr. Rose Mary will not be here to celebrate with us. However, we know that Sr. Rose Mary loved Holy Trinity very much. She has dedicated her whole life to this school. The best way to remember her is by our continual support to Holy Trinity College, which Sr. Rose Mary had transformed from an unknown private school to a good subsidized school, to be ranked among the well-established schools in Hong Kong by her persistent efforts. Sr. Rose Mary had always loved and cared for the alumni of Holy Trinity College and your continual support to the Past Students Association is essential.

This School is ours. God gave this School to us through Sr. Rose Mary. We are proud to be a member of Holy Trinity. By our joint efforts, we shall continue to build up our School in name and in quality so that Sr. Rose Mary's work will continue to flourish, and Sr. Rose Mary will always live in the hearts of all those who love her dearly.

Thank you and God bless you!
Gratefully yours,
